THE ROLE
We’re looking for a part time, 2 or 3 days per week, People Operations Generalist to support Sofar Sounds. This role reports to the CFO but will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team including the Experience Operations and Commercial teams. Ideally this role would be on the East Coast, US, but we’d consider other locations in the US for the right candidate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- HRIS (Rippling) maintenance and compliance
- Support part-time employee lifecycle for events staff (Crew) in the US and UK
- Support across all HR processes and systems
- Supporting hiring processes with documentation, candidate information
- On and offboarding of employees
- Preparing and collecting contractor documentation
- Build strong relationships across the company and be seen as a trusted partner that team members can approach with confidence and comfort
- Support employees across the organisation in a range of People issues by being the People team’s first point of contact (People Inbox)
- Support with key vendors - insurance broker, Rippling
WHO YOU ARE
- More than 3 years experience in HR/People Operations
- Proven organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent at prioritization and complex project management
- Experience working with HR information systems
- Previous experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Able to maintain a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentialityStrong communications skill and empathy -- able to develop trust relationships with employees at all levels of development
- Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all people-related matters
